Individual/Family Satisfaction Teams(I/FST): I/FST's survey individuals and their families on satisfaction with their behavioral health services. Teams are comprised of individuals and/or family members of those who have participated in services themselves. ASIST-(Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training): An evidence-based, two-day training, ASIST provides community individuals and professionals with a strong knowledge base and extensive practice opportunities to help effectively engage in suicide intervention. QPR-(Question, Persuade and Refer): QPR is a 1.5 hour community training to empower individuals to provide "suicide first aid" to help prevent suicide and link people to resources. Training is provided free of charge to groups of 10 or more people. Advocacy Services & Community Advocate Program: Advocates provide help in accessing mental health services. SOS(Survivors of Suicide Loss): This support group is open to all and is held from 7:00-8:30 PM on the first and third Mondays of every month. Emphasis is on helping each other to cope with the loss of a loved one to suicide. Community Support Program: Open to anyone, meetings are held monthly for mental health individuals and others interested in helping adults live successfully within the community . Stigma busting presentations are also provided. IMPROV: Participants work together to create a theatre production about living with mental illness. Participation may be as follows: cast, stage hand, writing team or production member. Community Connections Program: Trains volunteers to be Community Advocates in culturally diverse neighborhoods helping them to better understand and navigate the mental health system. Certified Peer Specialist: Certified Peer Specialists assist individuals with a mental illness meet their goals on their journey to recovery. Peer Specialists, who also have a mental health diagnosis, undergo intensive training. HelpLine: Felling depressed, lonely or anxious, need someone to talk to? HelpLine is open from 5-10PM on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
