Made of urethane covered water-resistant nylon with a transparent plastic panel over the joystick, this cover fits around the controller to protect it from dirt and moisture while still allowing use. Protective Cover For Wheelchair Controls
CUSTOM ADAPTATION PURPOSE: To protect powered wheelchair controls from rain. See-through plastic covers were sewn with a slit in the top for access to the joystick. The covers function like bottomless boxes and fit snugly over the controls and the joystick anchors them in place. CUSTOM ADAPTATION PURPOSE: To enable an individual with mobility disabilities to use a scooter outdoors in inclement weather. Made of Lexan, the cover is shaped to fit over the scooter controls without getting in the way. A sleve was fashioned from clear plastic that slides over the wheelchair joystick controller, protecting the buttons an gauges and most of the joystick.
