Selectmen appoint new Veterans Agent

The search is finally over for Cohasset's newest Veterans Services Agent.

As Veterans Service Agent, Mahoney will lend a hand to Cohasset veterans and their families by helping them in a number of different ways including community involvement, a financial assistance program for those in need, and providing support for them in times of need through a variety of resources. Mahoney, who has lived in Cohasset since the 1960's, said he is quite familiar with the veterans in town and looks forward to.
"It is important to really take care of the folks that are out there serving, and also to identify those who have served and get them involved," Mahoney said.
